Job Description

Were seeking a results-driven Local SEO Specialist with strong experience in both technical and content-focused SEO, including a deep understanding of local search strategy and emerging trends in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). This role is ideal for a motivated professional who can blend analytical thinking with creative execution, and whos excited to help shape what SEO looks like now and in the future. Youll work closely with our content and accounts teams to create strategies that improve search visibility, drive high-quality traffic, and support long-term growth for our clientsespecially in healthcare and service-based industries. Key Responsibilities On-Page & Content SEO Conduct strategic keyword research to guide content development Write or edit optimized page copy, metadata, headers, and internal links Partner with content writers to ensure new and existing content aligns with SEO goals Monitor page performance and recommend ongoing optimizations Local SEO & Google Business Profile (GBP) Optimization Manage and optimize GBP listings Ensure accurate and consistent NAP data across directories and platforms Implement strategies to improve local visibility via posts, photo updates, reviews, and Q&A Track local SEO performance and share insights and recommendations Technical SEO & Off-Page Strategy Perform site audits to identify crawlability, indexation, and performance issues Collaborate with developers to implement SEO technical enhancements Guide structured data, site architecture, and canonicalization strategies Contribute to backlink and citation strategies in coordination with off-page efforts Data Analysis & Strategy Monitor SEO performance using tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and SearchAtlas Track KPIs including traffic, rankings, click-through rates, and conversions Develop reports with actionable insights tailored to client goals GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) Awareness Stay informed on evolving best practices for SEO in AI-powered search environments Contribute to strategy development that positions content for success across traditional and generative search engines Identify opportunities to enhance visibility through structured, high-quality content optimized for AI tools Qualifications 24 years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in an agency or fast-paced environment Proven success in local SEO and Google Business Profile management Strong writing/editing background with an eye for SEO best practices Proficiency in tools including SEMrush, GA4, WordPress, and preferably SearchAtlas Understanding of technical SEO fundamentals, including site speed, crawl depth, and schema Familiarity with emerging GEO strategies and interest in staying ahead of AI search trends Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Analytical thinker who takes initiative and enjoys solving problems Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $55,000$60,000 annually Paid Time Off: 15 days of PTO + paid company holidays 401(k) plan with employer contribution Health, dental, and vision insurance Professional development supportopportunities to expand your skills and grow in your career Flexible hybrid work environmentwe use the office as a tool, not a requirement A fun, collaborative team culture that values creativity, autonomy, and quality The chance to work on meaningful projects that make a difference for real people #J-18808-Ljbffr Choose901
