Job Description

A K-12 School Psychologist position is available for a contract assignment through the full school year. This role supports students academic, social, and emotional well-being across all grade levels, providing essential psychological services within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, including cognitive, behavioral, and academic evaluations.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support students mental health and learning needs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to address student concerns and develop tailored support plans.
• Monitor student progress and effectiveness of interventions, adjusting plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in New York State.
• Experience working with K-12 populations in a school setting.
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational laws.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
