Physician Assistant – Interventional Cardiology/Electrophysiology/Cardiac Imaging - Rotating - Columbia Campus (New Grad PAs Apply Here!)

This is an exciting opportunity to be cross trained in interventional cardiology, electrophysiology and cardiac imaging.
Step into the new state-of-the-art Milstein Heart Center, a 140,000 square foot facility featuring the most advanced technology available in the world today. Provide high quality innovative care across a 30-bed inpatient unit and high performing Cardiac Cath and Electrophysiology Lab. While the fast-growing demand for cardiac imaging has led to the department seeking an additional physician assistant to help establish an improved patient workflow and experience. In this highly autonomous role, you will practice at the highest levels of your profession while working at one of the top cardiology centers in the country.
The physician assistant will assist in providing assessments, diagnosis, care and treatment of patients in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. The PA will work collaboratively with the attending physician and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and proper communication with family members.

When scheduled to work in Cath lab/EP hours would be as follows:
3 x 12.5 hr shifts per week; Weekend/night rotation included.
Preferred Criteria
Prior experience as a PA in radiology and/or cardiology
Required Criteria
Bachelor's or master's degree in physician assistant studies
NYS licensure
NCCPA certification
