To support the unprecedented growth and success of the organization an experienced and skilled Legal Contract Manager is sought. This important role supports the Group Corporate Counsel in navigating the complex regulatory and contractual landscape of the logistics industry, supporting the organizations teams in drafting and reviewing legal documentation, and engaging with clients and vendors in contract preparation and review. Key Responsibilities Contract Drafting & Review: Prepare and review commercial contracts, transportation agreements, carrier contracts, and warehouse leases specific to freight and logistics activities. Regulatory Compliance: Research and monitor compliance with U.S. federal regulations (e.g., FMCSA, DOT) and laws affecting trucking, freight forwarding and logistics. Litigation Assistance: Support attorney in freight claims, cargo disputes, and drafting demand letters. Document Management: Maintain and organize legal files and track deadlines. Support Operations: Collaborate with commercial, transportation, freight, logistics and procurement teams to resolve contract disputes or claims efficiently. Requirements Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field; Paralegal Certificate (CP). Experience: 10-15 years of Contract Management experience, with minimum 5 year’s experience gained in the transportation, logistics, or supply chain sectors. Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills Well-honed drafting skills High attention to detail and quality Ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels within the company Ability to handle volume confidential information and communications Strong technology skills, MS Office, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Teams, DocuSign, etc. Familiarity with FMCSA, DOT, or customs regulations is a strong advantage.
