Calling all DOG LOVERS . BarkSuds Washington DC is looking for individuals who:

• Must love dogs!
• Are attentive to safely caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.

About the Dog Bather role:

• You understand that FUR kids are family.
• You must be able to interact with all dogs in a calm manner.
• You might get a little dirty, but every dog will be comfortable, clean and happy.

Responsibilities:

• Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs of all breeds.
• Evaluate each dog's grooming needs and provide personalized care.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area to ensure safety and hygiene.
• Handle dogs gently and professionally to ensure a positive grooming experience.
• Stay updated on grooming trends and techniques to enhance service quality.

Job duties include but are not limited to bathing, drying and brushing of dogs. Trimming and grinding of dog nails. Teeth brushing and ear cleaning...

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a dog groomer or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of different dog breeds and grooming techniques.
• Certification from a recognized grooming school is a plus.
• Ability to handle dogs of all temperaments with patience and care.
• Physical stamina to perform grooming tasks efficiently.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality service.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
